BUFFALO, NY—Kirk Love (Hamburg/Frontier) scored the game's only goal to lift Buffalo State (4-14) to a 1-0 victory over visiting Daemen (4-12) in the season finale today at Coyer Field.

Love connected on a long, floating shot from 25 yards inside the far post in the 52nd minute to finally break the scoreless tie. Brian Dudek (Niskayuna/Cheshire Academy) made five saves between the pipes to preserve the victory and had Daemen its 11th-consecutive loss.

Buffalo State graduates no seniors this season and will look to build in 2011.
