Houghton Tops Women’s Volleyball

HOUGHTON, NY— NAIA Division II Houghton (10-9) swept visiting Buffalo State (11-11), 25-22, 25-19 and 26-24 tonight at the Nielson P.E. Center.

Sherrell McLean (Buffalo/City Honors) had a team-best six kills for Buffalo State. Stephanie Kazmierczak (Buffalo/City Honors) dished out 23 assists, and Chelsea Moore (Kenmore/Kenmore West) chipped in 14 digs.

Buffalo State will play visit the University of Rochester on Saturday for a tri-match against the Yellowjackets and Brockport.
