ROCHESTER, NY—Buffalo State (11-13) dropped a pair of decisions in a tri-match today hosted by the University of Rochester today, falling in four sets against Brockport, and in straight sets against the host Yellowjackets.

Brockport regrouped in the opening match after Buffalo State won the first set, prevailing 23-25, 25-17, 25-23 and 25-21. Allyson Pierce (Olcott/Newfane) led Buffalo State with nine kills. Stephanie Kazmierczak (Buffalo/City Honors) recorded 36 assists, and Chelsea Moore (Kenmore/Kenmore West) chipped in 19 digs.

Rochester was too powerful in the late match, winning 25-15, 25-21 and 25-19. Sherrell McLean (Buffalo/City Honors) had a team-best eight kills for Buffalo State, while Kazmierczak had 20 assists, and Moore had 11 digs.

Buffalo State will next host St. John Fisher on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
