PLATTSBURGH, NY—Senior Antonio Samedi (St. Albans/Queens Vocational) netted a career-high 27 points and had 12 rebounds, but Buffalo State (8-11/6-7) surrendered a 10-point second-half lead and Plattsburgh (13-7/8-5) hit a last second layup to win 88-86 in a SUNYAC game today at Memorial Hall.

Glenroy Carr (Amherst/Sweet Home) tallied 21 points for the Bengals, and Jake Simmons (Rochester/School of the Arts) added 14.

Buffalo State took a 45-43 lead into halftime and built its lead to 10 at 71-61 with 11 minutes remaining in regulation. Plattsburgh battled back however and led 86-84 with 26 seconds remaining. Carr knocked down a pair of free throws with six seconds left to tie the score, but the Cardinals hit a layup as time expired to seal the win.

Buffalo State will host Oneonta in another SUNYAC game next Friday at 8 p.m.
