FREDONIA, NY—Baldwin-Wallace (5-1) defeated Buffalo State (1-3), 5-1 today at the Fredonia Classic.

The Bengals fell behind early as the Yellow Jackets netted their first goal just three minutes into the game and would tack on two more before Thomas Winski (Toronto, ON/Dante Alighieri) scored for the only goal Buffalo State in the 31st minute. Baldwin-Wallace scored twice in the second half to close out all scoring.

The Yellow Jackets held a slim 21-17 advantage in shots, but outshot the Bengals 17-8 in the first half. 

Jonathan Commisso (Pt. Washington/Schrieber) and Paul LaMancusa (Kenmore/Kenmore West) were named to the All-Tournament Team.

Buffalo State will play at Roberts Wesleyan on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
