ROCHESTER, NY--Buffalo State (2-4) scored first, but then surrendered five-consecutive goals en route to a 5-1 defeat at host Roberts Wesleyan (3-4) tonight.

Wilfred Valerio (Bronx/Bronx Academy of Letters) got the Bengals on the board first with his first collegiate goal off an assist from Tom Winski (Toronto, ON/Dante Alighieri Academy). Roberts Wesleyan stormed back, however, taking a 3-1 advantage by the intermission, and added two more tallies in the second half.

Buffalo State will open SUNYAC play on Saturday at Fredonia at 1 p.m.
