NEW PALTZ, NY—New Paltz (5-3/2-0) scored a pair of first-half goals top visiting Buffalo State (2-6/0-2), 2-0, in a SUNYAC contest today.

The Hawks scored in the 18th and 31st minutes to account for all of the day's offense, and then held the Bengals' off in the second half. New Paltz held an 18-10 edge in shots. Brian Dudek (Niskayuna/Cheshire Academy) made seven saves for Buffalo State.

Buffalo State will remain on the road tomorrow when it will face Oneonta at 1 p.m., looking to snap a five-game losing skid.
