BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State (11-9) used several big scoring runs to roll past visiting D'Youville (4-11) in straight sets, 25-19, 25-12 and 25-4 in a non-conference match tonight at the Sports Arena.

Paige Ottaviano (Pt. Colborne, ON/Lakeshore Catholic) led a balanced Buffalo State attack with nine kills. Allyson Pierce (Olcott/Newfane) and Sherrell McLean (Buffalo/City Honors) chipped in seven kills each, while Pierce added five blocks. Stephanie Kazmierczak (Buffalo/City Honors) had 28 assists, and Chelsea Moore (Kenmore/Kenmore West) recorded eight digs.

Buffalo State will take a week off before visiting Medaille next Tuesday at 7 p.m.
