BUFFALO, NY—Glenroy Carr (New York/Sweet Home) scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to help Buffalo State (8-4/3-3) defeat visiting Geneseo (7-6/1-5), 112-104, in a SUNYAC contest tonight at the Sports Arena.

Jake Simmons (Rochester/School for the Arts) also scored 20 points for the Bengals. #T.O. Jackson# (Bronx/Bronx Regional) had 17 points and 10 boards, Justin Mitchell (Buffalo/Timon) also netted 17 points, and Chris Cartwright (Binghamton/Binghamton) added 16 points and had eight assists.

Buffalo State led 53-43 at halftime and never trailed in the second half, leading by as many as 17. The teams combined to commit 55 fouls in the game. Each team netted 41 field goals, but Buffalo State outscored Geneseo 18-3 from 3-point range and 24-21 from the free throw line.

The Bengals will next head north to play Potsdam on Friday at 8 p.m.
