POTSDAM, NY—Potsdam (7-5-2/4-1-1) buried a pair of early goals and cruised past visiting Buffalo State (6-5-2/1-5), 3-0, in a SUNYAC contest today in the “North Country”.

The Bears opened the scoring in the 12th minute and pushed the lead to 2-0 just under four minutes later.  Potsdam added an insurance marker less than five minutes into the second half to quell any Bengal hopes of a comeback. 

The Bears outshot Buffalo State, 16-7.  Ben Spilman (Queensbury/Glens Falls) made four saves between the pipes for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will visit Plattsburgh tomorrow at 1 p.m.
