BUFFALO, NY—Nazareth (8-6) scored in the 52nd minute to slip past Buffalo State (6-7-2), 1-0, in a non-conference game this afternoon at Coyer Field.

The Golden Flyers notched the game winner when Ryan Foley (Waterford, Ireland/De La Salle College) scored on a header off a cross from Liam Connolly (Stratham, NH/Exeter).

Nazareth peppered the Buffalo State net with 19 shots, to the Bengals eight and held a 9-3 advantage in corner kicks.  Ben Spilman (Queensbury/Glens Falls) had nine saves in the loss.

Buffalo State will close out its season this weekend with a pair of SUNYAC games, hosting Oneonta and New Paltz on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
