BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State (6-5-1) used a three-goal third period to rally past visiting Hobart (5-5), 3-1, in a non-conference game tonight at the Ice Arena. 

Drew Klin (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster), Shane Avery (Fort Covington, NY/Salmon River) and James Durham (Marilla, NY/St. Francis) all scored for the Bengals, while Trevor McKinney (Oakwood, ON/Sinclair) chipped in two assists.

Hobart took the early lead, scoring an even-strength goal at the 6:12 mark of the first period, but Buffalo State scored three unanswered markers in the third, including two in a 33-second span to come away with the win. 

The Bengals were 1 of 6 on the power play and Ryan Malinowski (E. Amherst, NY/Williamsville North) made 33 saves to pick up his second win of the season. 

Buffalo State returns to action after the semester break when it travels to St. Anselm on Jan. 6.
