BEREA, Ohio—Buffalo State (2-7) lost two more matches today to close out the Marcia French Invitational, falling in straight sets to both host Baldwin-Wallace (8-1) and Denison (5-5).

The Bengals fell to Baldwin-Wallace on its home court in the morning match, 11-25, 15-25 and 16-25. Sherrell McLean (Buffalo/City Honors) led the Bengals attack with five kills. Kelsey Bashore (Antwerp, OH/Antwerp) add 15 assists and seven digs, and Chelsea Moore (Kenmore/Kenmore West) had 12 digs.

Denison made short work of the Bengals in the late match, 25-17, 25-20 and 25-23. Sam Parente (Bellport/E. Patchogue) had a team-high 15 kills for Buffalo State and added two blocks. Bashore had 30 assists, and Moore chipped in eight digs.

Buffalo State will look to get back on track on Tuesday at D'Youville at 7 p.m.
