BROCKPORT, NY—Brockport (4-2-1/1-0) scored a goal in each half to defeat Buffalo State (5-1-2/0-1), 2-0, in the SUNYAC opener for both teams this afternoon at A. Huntley Parker Jr. Field in Brockport.

The Golden Eagles recorded goals in the 19th and 76th minutes and held a 14-2 advantage in shots. Ben Spilman (Queensbury/Glens Falls) finished with three saves for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will play at Geneseo tomorrow at 1 p.m.
