GENESEO, NY—Geneseo (5-2-1/2-0) netted two first half goals en route to a 3-0 win over visiting Buffalo State (5-2-2/0-2) in a SUNYAC game at Saratoga Field this afternoon.

The Knights scored their first goal just three minutes in and added another less than eight minutes later. Geneseo closed out the scoring in the 56th minute when the Knights attacker converted on a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper.

Geneseo outshot the Bengals 19-5, while Ben Spilman (Queensbury/Glens Falls) had seven saves in the loss.

Buffalo State will host Fredonia next Saturday at 4 p.m.
