BUFFALO, NY—Freshman Sam Parente (Bellport/E. Patchogue) pounded out 10 kills to lead Buffalo State (2-3) to a straight-sets win over host Medaille (0-1) tonight, winning25-19, 25-13 and 25-18.

Kelsey Bashore (Antwerp, OH/Antwerp) dished out 23 assists, Chelsea Moore (Kenmore/Kenmore West) had 10 digs, and Sherrell McLean (Buffalo/City Honors) added seven kills and three blocks.

Buffalo State will travel to Baldwin-Wallace for the Marcia French Memorial Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
