Box Score BUFFALO, NY—Steve Zacharczyk recorded a pair of goals to propel visiting Plattsburgh (15-1/6-1) to a 4-1 win over Buffalo State (1-12-1/0-6-1) in a SUNYAC game this afternoon at Coyer Field.

The Cardinals netted a pair of first half goals, including Zacharczyk's first marker in the 31st minute.  Plattsburgh would extend their lead to 3-0 before C.J. Scirto (Lockport/St. Joe's) scored his third of the season in the 67th minute when he beat the goalkeeper with a shot from close range. Plattsburgh put the game out of reach with another late in the second half.

Plattsburgh outshot the Bengals, 19-5, and held a 10-1 advantage in corner kicks.  Ian Huntoon (Stamford, CT/West Hill) had eight saves in the loss.

With the loss, Buffalo State is officially eliminated from postseason contention.  The Bengals will travel to Alfred for a non-conference game on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
