OSWEGO, NY—No. 2 Oswego (19-2-2/12-0-2) scored four unanswered goals to claim a 4-1 victory over visiting Buffalo State (11-11-2/7-7-1) in a SUNYAC game tonight at the Campus Center.

Justin Knee (Centralia, ON/S. Huron) opened the scoring 6:46 into the second period with an assist from Eric Bajc (Gasport, NY/Cedarcrest PA) to give Buffalo State a 1-0 lead.  The Lakers answered with a pair of goals just 30 seconds apart later in the second stanza, and then added two more goals in the final frame to put the game out of reach.  The final goal was an empty-netter with just 20 seconds remaining.

Kevin Carr (Unionville, ON/Unionville) made 37 saves to keep the Bengals within striking distance.  Oswego outshot Buffalo State, 41-29.  The Lakers went 2 for 5 on the power-play, while the Bengals were 0 for 3.

Buffalo State will close out the regular season next Friday at Fredonia at 7 p.m.
