Box Score BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State (1-4) erupted for five goals and earned its first win of the season tonight, defeating host D'Youville (0-6), 5-1, in a non-conference contest. 

The Bengals jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first half and coasted to the win.  C.J. Scirto (Lockport/St. Joe's) and Chris Haney (Williamsville/Williamsville East) led the attack with a pair of goals each, and Andrew Dugan (Schenectady/Colonie) also scored.

The Bengals dominated play, outshooting the Spartans, 25-7.

Buffalo State will open its home schedule this Saturday with a home contest against Daemen at 1 p.m.
