HAMBURG, NY—Buffalo State (15-3) extended its winning streak to nine matches with a convincing straight sets victory at Hilbert (10-3) tonight, winning 25-15, 25-10 and 25-18. The nine-match winning streak equals the Bengals longest since 2002 and is only bettered by the school-record mark of 11-straight wins in 2001.

Hannah Renaldo (North Collins/North Collins) led the Bengals with 11 kills, and Sherrell McLean (Buffalo/City Honors) added eight kills and three blocks.  Hannah Santoro (Lancaster/Lancaster) chipped in 17 assists and three aces.

Buffalo State will take a break from competition this weekend and will return to action next Tuesday at Daemen at 7 p.m.
