Buffalo State's up and down season continued last week with a 40-17 home loss to Alfred in its first-ever Empire 8 contest.  The Bengals are 2-2 overall and 0-1 in conference play Salisbury University this Saturday, the No. 7-ranked team in the latest D3Football.com poll.  The Sea Gulls are 2-1 this season with their loss coming against No. 6 Wesley.  Salisbury and Buffalo State were both members of the Atlantic Central Football Conference (ACFC) in 2004 and 2005 and now reunite as affiliate members in the Empire 8.  Salisbury is 4-0 all-time in the series history.
