Box Score FREDONIA, NY—Fredonia (3-9/2-1) scored a pair of first-half goals and defeated Buffalo State (1-8-1/0-2-1), 2-0, in a SUNYAC game this afternoon.

The Blue Devils got on the board at the 18:56 mark on a header off a corner kick and netted their second goal just under four minutes later to put the game out of reach.

The Bengals were shutout for the seventh time this season and had their scoreless streak extended to 453 minutes and 48 seconds.

Buffalo State held a slim, 12-11 advantage in shots, while Fredonia finished with a 10-4 edge in corner kicks.  Ian Huntoon (Stamford, CT/West Hill) had four saves in the loss, including a penalty kick save in the 87th minute.

Buffalo State will travel to Cortland for another league game Friday at 4 p.m.
