BUFFALO, NY— Kelsey Bashore (Antwerp, OH/Antwerp) had 21 assists, five aces and eight digs to lead Buffalo State (4-1) to a convincing three-set win over visiting St. John Fisher (0-1) tonight at the Sports Arena, 25-14, 25-12 and 25-22.  The win snapped an 11-match losing streak against the Cardinals that dated back to the Bengals' last win in 2003.

Freshman Jennifer Cecchettini (Hamburg/Frontier) had a team-high seven kills, while Chelsea Moore (Kenmore/Kenmore West) led the Bengals with 13 digs. Sarah Horvath (Blasdell/Immaculata) chipped in six kills and 12 digs.

Buffalo State will next compete in the Baldwin Wallace Invitational this Friday and Saturday.
