Cortland never trailed after the opening minutes of the game, racing out to a 54-38 lead at the break. The Red Dragons continued to lead by 20 or more for most of the second half until Buffalo State scored the final nine points of the game.
Buffalo State will look to bounce back tomorrow in another conference game at Oswego at 4 p.m.
