Box Score CORTLAND, NY—Cortland (9-3/3-2) shot 46-percent from the field and 44-percent from 3-point range en route to a 100-89 victory over visiting Buffalo State (8-3/3-2) in a SUNYAC game tonight.

Roderick Epps (Uniondale/Uniondale) paced Buffalo State with 24 points on 9 of 25 shooting.  Anthony Hamer (Brooklyn/Bishop Loughlin) added 16 points, and Chris Boyd (Buffalo/East) added 10 points off the bench.  Jake Simmons (Rochester/School of the Arts) was held to six points, going 2 of 13 from the field and 0 for 6 from long range.

Cortland never trailed after the opening minutes of the game, racing out to a 54-38 lead at the break.  The Red Dragons continued to lead by 20 or more for most of the second half until Buffalo State scored the final nine points of the game. 

Buffalo State will look to bounce back tomorrow in another conference game at Oswego at 4 p.m.
