ROCHESTER, NY—Buffalo State (12-6) extended its winning streak to seven consecutive matches with a four-set victory over host St. John Fisher (10-9) in a non-conference match tonight.

After cruising in the first set 25-8, Buffalo State suffered a 27-29 setback, but closed the Cardinals out, 25-12 and 25-20. Sophomore Kayla Pyc (Grand Island/Grand Island) led the Bengals offense with 13 kills with just two hitting errors, and Samantha Parente (E. Patchogue/Bellport) added 10 kills. Kelsey Bashore (Antwerp, OH/Antwerp) had 35 assists, and Chelsea Moore (Kenmore/Kenmore West) had a team-high 29 digs.

Buffalo State will face Plattsburgh this Friday in a non-conference match to open the Nazareth Golden Flyer Invitational.
