Buffalo State (3-4/1-3 ) picked up its first Empire 8 win of the season last Saturday at home in convincing fashion, defeating Frostburg State, 60-28. Utica (3-3/1-2) dropped its homecoming contest last Saturday, falling 26-21 against Ithaca. The Pioneers won a shootout in Buffalo last season, prevailing 51-44 after erasing a 15-point fourth-quarter deficit, and scoring the game-winning touchdown with 13 seconds remaining.
