ROCHESTER, NY—Buffalo State (13-6) dropped the first set, but rallied to defeat Plattsburgh (6-11) for the second time in less than a week in a non-conference match tonight at the Nazareth Golden Flyer Invitational. The Bengals prevailed 21-25, 25-21, 25-14 and 25-20 for their eight-straight win.

Junior transfer Jessica Crooks (Niagara Falls/Niagara Wheatfield) led three Bengals with double-digit kills with 14. Samantha Parente (E. Patchogue/Bellport) added 13 kills, and Sarah Horvath (Blasdell/Immaculata) had 10 kills and 14 digs. Kelsey Bashore (Antwerp, OH/Antwerp) dished out 41 assists to go with 15 digs, and Chelsea Moore (Kenmore/Kenmore West) added 22 digs.

The Bengals will remain at Nazareth tomorrow, facing Ithaca at 11 a.m. and the host Golden Flyers at 3 p.m.
