Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ROCHESTER, NY—Buffalo State (15-6) extended its winning streak to 10 matches, just one shy of matching a school record, defeating Ithaca (8-14) in straight sets, before clawing past host Nazareth (15-6) in a four-set match today.

The Bengals cruised past Ithaca in the opening match, 25-17, 25-13 and 25-14. Samantha Parente (E. Patchogue/Bellport) pounded out 20 kills with just two errors to lead the Bengals' attack. Meanwhile, Kelsey Bashore (Antwerp, OH/Antwerp) had 27 assists and three aces, and Jessica Crooks (Niagara Falls/Niagara Wheatfield) had 11 kills with three blocks. Chelsea Moore (Kenmore/Kenmore West) chipped in 17 digs and four service aces.

Buffalo State dropped the first set against the Golden Flyers, 20-25, but then won three-straight, 25-22, 25-21 and 25-23. Parente was strong again, posting 15 kills and four blocks. Bashore distributed 38 assists and had three blocks, and Moore had 19 digs. Jennifer Cecchittini (Hamburg/Frontier) chipped in eight kills in the win.

Parente was named MVP of the tournament, and Hannah Renaldo (N. Collins/N. Collins) was named to the All-Tournament Team.

Buffalo State will return to SUNYAC play next Friday at New Paltz with a 5 p.m. match against Oneonta.
