Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 MEADVILLE, Pa.—Buffalo State (7-6) had a bounce back performance today at the Allegheny Invitational, sweeping Thiel (0-13) and the host Gators (5-7) in convincing fashion.

The Bengals cruised past Thiel in the opening match, winning 25-22, 25-15 and 25-18. Jessica Crooks (Niagara Falls/Niagara-Wheatfield) led the Bengals attack with 10 kills and added three blocks. Chelsea Moore (Kenmore/Kenmore West) had a team-high 14 digs, and Kelsey Bashore (Antwerp, OH/Antwerp) had 29 assists and three aces.

Buffalo State continued to roll in the second match, defeating Allegheny, 25-22, 25-15 and 25-18. Crooks had another strong match up front, pounding out 11 kills, while Samantha Parente (E. Patchogue/Bellport) had nine. Bashore dished out 33 assists, and Moore had 18 digs.

Moore was named to the All-Tournament Team.

Buffalo State will take a 10-day break and return to action at home on the 24th against Medaille at 7 p.m.
