Box Score BROCKPORT, NY—Buffalo State (9-6/1-0) dropped the first set, but bounced back to defeat Geneseo (8-9/0-1) in four sets, 22-25, 25-14, 25-17 and 25-15, to open SUNYAC play this evening at Brockport.

The Bengals hit over 21-percent as a team, and Sarah Horvath (Blasdell/Immaculata) and Samantha Parente (E. Patchogue/Bellport) led the way with 12 kills apiece. Kelsey Bashore (Antwerp, OH/Antwerp) had 33 assists and 13 digs, and Chelsea Moore (Kenmore/Kenmore West) added 20 digs. Kayla Pyc (Grand Island/Grand Island) chipped in 7 kills and a match-high six blocks.

Buffalo State will remain in Brockport tomorrow and will face Fredonia at 10 a.m. and Plattsburgh at 3 p.m.
