Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 BROCKPORT, NY—Buffalo State (11-6/3-0) picked up two more wins in the first weekend of SUNYAC play, defeating Fredonia and Plattsburgh today at Brockport.

In the morning match, Buffalo State defeated the Blue Devils, 25-18, 21-25, 26-24 and 25-19 and was led by up front by Kayla Pyc (Grand Island/Grand Island) and Samantha Parente (E. Patchogue/Bellport) with 13 and 11 kills, respectively, and each also finished with three blocks apiece. Chelsea Moore (Kenmore/Kenmore West) had a team-high 26 digs, while Kelsey Bashore (Antwerp, OH/Antwerp) added 43 assists and 21 digs.

In the second match, the Bengals swept Plattsburgh in straight sets, winning 25-20, 25-15 and 25-18.  Jessica Crooks (Niagara Falls/Niagara Wheatfield) paced Buffalo State with 11 kills and four blocks.  Bashore added 34 assists and eight digs, while Moore, Sarah Horvath (Blasdell/Immaculata) and Rachelle Kelchlin (West Seneca/St. Mary's) chipped in nine digs apiece.

Buffalo State will next compete at St. John Fisher on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
