Box Score BROCKPORT, NY—No. 23-ranked Brockport (12-1/6-0) forced 19 Buffalo State (7-7/3-4) turnovers en route to an 84-69 victory in a SUNYAC game tonight at Vlogianitis Gym.

Just three Bengals scoredin double figures, led by Justin Mitchell (Buffalo/Timon) with 18 points. Legree Kirkland (New York/Frederick Douglas VII) finished with 12 points and nine rebounds, while freshman Rey Jordan (Buffalo/McKinley) chipped in 10 points.

Buffalo State led by as many as eight points in the first half, but the Golden Eagles tied the game with 9:58 to go in the opening period, took a 40-33 lead into the intermission and never trailed in the second half. Buffalo State shot 43-percent from the field and outscored Brockport, 48-42, in the paint, but the 19 turnovers, translated into 30 Golden Eagles' points.

Buffalo State will play at home for the first time since Dec. 7 when it hosts Plattsburgh on Friday at 8 p.m.
