CANTON, N.Y.—
Ryan Salkeld (Virginia Beach, VA/Churchland) scored 43 seconds into overtime and Buffalo State escaped with a 5-4 victory over SUNY Canton tonight in a non-conference game.

HOW IT HAPPENED- One night after tallying six points in a 10-1 win, Taylor Pryce (Newmarket, ON/Cardinal Carter) came back with a three-point performance on two goals and an assist.
- Anthony Beaumont (Lester, PA/Interboro) and Nick Schiro (Sanborn/Niagara Wheatfield) chipped in a goal and an assist each.
- The Bengals fell behind 2-0 early in the second period, but battled back to even the score at 3-3, scoring a pair of goals in the final 1:26 of the frame.
- Canton reclaimed the lead with just over six minutes remaining in regulation, but Pryce scored his second of the game and fifth of the season while shorthanded with just 2:21 remaining.
- Salkeld netted the game winner with and assist from Scott Roy (Rockland, ON/ESC L'Escale)
- Buffalo State held a 32-29 edge in shots, and Mike DeLaVergne (Pawling, NY/Pawling) made 25 saves in goal.
FOR THE FOES- J.P. Langlois, Nick Lepone, Ben Beasley and Joe Deveney scored for the Kangaroos.
