PHILADELPHIA—Buffalo State continued its perfect start to the season, improving to 6-0 with a 3-1 victory over host Neumann tonight, completing the two-game ECAC West weekend sweep.

HOW IT HAPPENED- Bri Carroll (Peoria, AZ/Virtual Academy) tallied her fourth of the season on the power play, and Maddie Toczek (N. Tonawanda/Starpoint) pushed the lead to 2-0 with just 23 seconds left in the opening period.
- Erin Gehen's (West Seneca, NY/W. Seneca West) sixth goal of the season extended the Bengals advantage as the lone marker in the middle frame.
- Neumann broke the shutout on the power play with just 58 seconds remaining in the game, but it proved to be too little, too late.
- Viivi Vaattovaara (Veikkola, Finland) chipped in a pair of assists for Buffalo State.
- Neumann outshot Buffalo State, 20-19, and Justine Silva (Baldwin Park, CA/Arroyo) finished with 19 stops for the win.
FOR THE FOES- Justina Mayr made 16 stops for the Knights and Lauren Cusack scored her first goal of the season.
