BUFFALO, N.Y.—
Taylor Pryce (Newmarket, ON/Cardinal Carter) scored twice and
Mike DeLaVergne (Pawling, NY/Pawling) made 35 saves as Buffalo State earned a 2-2 tie against nationally- ranked No. 5 St. Norbert in a non-conference game today at the Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED- Buffalo State jumped out to the early lead just 3:56 into the game when Pryce banged home a rebound with assists from Zach Nieminen (Ajax, ON/Notre Dame CSS) and Scott Roy (Rockland, ON/ESC L'Escale).
- The Bengals continued to apply early pressure before having to kill off three-consecutive penalties late in the period, including two full minutes of 5-on-3.
- Pryce snapped a shot off the rush on the power play just 39 seconds into the second period for his second of the game and eighth of the season to extend the Bengals' lead to 2-0. Jake Rosen (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville North) and Brody Power (Toronto, ON/Upper Canada College) collected the assists.
- St. Norbert would get even in the middle frame, however, scoring first on the power play, before evening the score with just 50 seconds remaining that slid through traffic and found its way to the back of the net.
- DeLaVergne would make 15 saves in the third period and overtime to preserve the tie, finishing with 35 saves for the game.
- The Green Knights outshot the Bengals, 37-22, for the game, but finished just 1 for 8 on the power play. Buffalo State was 1 for 6 with the man advantage.

- T.J. Black made 20 saves between the pipes.
