Football Game Notes vs. St. John Fisher - Oct. 3

Jake Lipowski and the Bengals' offensive line have helped clear the way for the leading rushing attack in the Empire 8

Buffalo State and St. John Fisher enter this Saturday's "homecoming" game at Coyer Field with matching 1-2 records. The Bengals opened the season with a shutout win at Otterbein, but have gone 0-2 in Empire 8 play with losses at Alfred and Morrisville. St. John Fisher lost to Thomas More and Cortland to open the season, but evened its E8 record at 1-1 with a 42-41 double-overtime victory over Brockport last Saturday as the game ended on a missed extra point by the Golden Eagles.
