The Matchup…Buffalo State earned a 39-21 victory at Cortland last weekend to climb over the .500 mark, improving to 3-2 overall and 2-2 in Empire 8 play.  Alfred State dropped a 47-19 decision at Dean College last Saturday to remain winless on the season at 0-6.  This marks the first-ever meeting between these two programs as Alfred State is in transition from the NJCAA (junior college) and is currently a provisional member of NCAA Division III.
