The Matchup…Buffalo State is 4-2 overall and 2-2 in Empire 8 play.  The Bengals have won two straight, including a 27-0 non-conference shutout last week at Alfred State.  Utica is 5-2 overall and 3-2 in league play after upsetting nationally-ranked St. John Fisher, 23-6, at home last Saturday.  The win snapped a two-game skid of losses to Ithaca and Brockport.  Buffalo State prevailed at Utica last season, 28-16, as the Bengals held Utica to just 35 yards rushing and 239 yards of total offense.  Dale Stewart also matched a school record with a 100-yard kick return.
