OSWEGO, N.Y.—Buffalo State was left continuing to search for its first conference victory of the season, dropping a pair of matches to the host Lakers and later to Potsdam today in SUNYAC play at Oswego.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State started fast in the late match, winning the first set, 25-20. After pushing the second set to the wrong side of a 30-28 decision, the Bengals dropped the last two sets 21-25 and 13-25.
- Riley Chapman (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) and Hansen led the Bengals with 13 kills apiece. Chapman added 16 digs.
- Marte finished with 34 assists.
- Hanna Cormier (Ft. Edward/Warhill) added a team-high 19 digs.
FOR THE FOES
- Gabrielle Scott led the Bears with 14 kills, and Brianna Rodda had 35 assists.
