BUFFALO, N.Y.—Buffalo State could not overcome a 21-3 deficit at the end of the first quarter as it fell to the Rochester Institute of Technology, 68-52 in tonight's non-conference game at the Buffalo State Sports Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Princella McCullough (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) led the Bengals in scoring with 16 points. McCullough also had a game-high 18 rebounds, to record her fifth double-double of the season.
- Taylor Graham (Santa Rosa, CA/Maria Carrillo) added 15 points, knocking down four 3-pointers.
- Caleh McLean (New Rochelle/New Rochelle), Grace Licata (Williamsville/Williamsville South), Graham and McCullough each finished with two steals.
- The Tigers got out to a quick start, scoring 12 unanswered points to open the game. The Bengals were never able to claw their way back despite the hard fought effort.
- Despite a mid-game surge, Buffalo State was never able to completely close the gap on the Tigers. The closest the Bengals were was an eight-point deficit in the third quarter.
- Buffalo State shot 29.2 percent from the field, compared to 43.5 percent from R.I.T.
FOR THE FOES
- Tara Lynch scored 33 points, going 15-of-19 from the field.
- Jessica Glaz added a team-high five assists.
