CORTLAND, N.Y.—Cortland led by as many as 22 in the second half and held on for a 91-80 victory over visiting Buffalo State tonight in a SUNYAC contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mike Henry (Syracuse/West Genesee) led the Bengals with 20 points and seven rebounds.
- Jordan Glover (Buffalo/St. Joe's) and Lovell Smith (Buffalo/McKinley) netted 17 points apiece, and Nico McLean (Buffalo/Amherst) finished with 16 points and seven assists.
- The Red Dragons led 40-33 at halftime and never trailed in the second half, pushing the lead to as large as 73-51 with less than 10 minutes remaining. Buffalo State could not cut the margin within double-figures the rest of the way.
- Cortland shot 50 percent from the field and hit 12 (12 of 25) 3-pointers.
- Buffalo State connected on 41 percent of its shot from the field and was 11 of 25 from long range.
- The Red Dragons held a 40-35 rebounding advantage, and outscored the Bengals, 36-26, in the paint.
