HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Perry added four assists and three steals and was 9 of 10 at the free throw line.
  • Caleh McLean (New Rochelle/New Rochelle) added 11 points, and Keyonte Edwards (Buffalo/O'Hara) scored 10 points to go with 10 rebounds.
  • Jordan Yastremski (Bath/Bath-Haverling) pulled down 11 boards to go with five points, and Krystal Watson (Buffalo/Sacred Heart) added eight points and nine rebounds.
  • The Bengals jumped out a 14-5 advantage in the first quarter, but the Red Dragons battled back and cut the deficit to just one at halftime at 24-23.
  • Cortland continued to rally and led by two briefly midway through the third quarter, but the Bengals responded with six straight points and never relinquished the lead again.
