Buffalo State and Otterbein open the season against one another for the second time in as many seasons this Saturday at noon at Coyer Field.  The Bengals won the first-ever meeting between the two programs in Ohio last season, claiming a 29-0 victory.  Buffalo State went on to finish the season 7-4 last season, that ended with a berth in the ECAC Asa S. Bushnell Bowl.  Otterbein won four of its next five games last season after falling to the Bengals, but finished the year 4-6 overall.
