ALFRED, N.Y.—
Bass Sarr (New York/JREC) scored his sixth goal in his sixth game of the season and visiting Buffalo State posted a 2-1 victory over Alfred State tonight in a non-conference contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sarr pened the scoring in the 12th minute with an assist from August Finn (High Falls/Rondout Valley).
- Brandon Galanti (Hamburg/Frontier) netted his second goal of the season in the 75th minute with an assist from Tristan Myers (Rochester/Webster Thomas) which proved to be the game winner.
- Alfred State cut the lead in half, scoring in the 81st minute. The Pioneers created another opportunity less than a minute later, but a shot sailed high, before Buffalo State regained control and ran out the clock.
- The Bengals outshot the Pioneers 14-9 for the game and had a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks.
- William Banahene (Rochester/Brighton) made four saves in the victory.

- Kory Zimmer scored the Alfred State goal with an assist from Tyler Landries.
- Jacob Bartz made three saves for the Pioneers.
