BROCKPORT, N.Y.—Buffalo State dropped a straight-set match to Oneonta to open SUNYAC play today at Brockport.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dana Mancuso (Kenmore/Kenmore West) led Buffalo State's offense with seven kills, while Allie Harford (Silver Creek/Silver Creek) and Lauren Hansen (Blue Point/Bayport Blue Point) added five each. Hansen also had nine digs.
- Katherine Marte (Ithaca/Ithaca) dished out 18 assists.
- After dropping the opening set, the Bengals led 16-12 in the second frame, but a 7-0 run by the Red Dragons erased the deficit and Oneonta continued on for the win. The Bengals took an early lead in the third set as well, but Oneonta proved too strong.
- The Red Dragons posted a .305 attack percentage, compared to .115 by the Bengals.
FOR THE FOES
- Erika Corbin had 11 kills for Oneonta, and Paige Carpluk had 10.
- Jessica Fowler and Jessica Pelaccio registered 18 and 15 assists respectively.
