ROCHESTER, N.Y.— Buffalo State received scoring from three "first-timers" in a 3-0 victory this afternoon in a non-conference game over host Nazareth.

HOW IT HAPPENED
	- Freshman Zach Caruso (Rochester/Webster Thomas) opened the scoring with his first collegiate tally in the 28th minute with an assist from Anastosios Strembenis (Churchville/Churchville-Chili).
- Junior transfer from Niagara University Brandon Galanti (Hamburg/Frontier) netted his first as a Bengals less than two minutes into the second half.
- Maissa Dieye (New York/Manhattan International), who suffered a season-ending injury in the first game of his rookie year last season, scored his first collegiate goal in the 74th minute to complete the scoring with an assist from August Finn (High Falls/Rondout Valley).
- Buffalo State outshot Nazareth 19-10, including 12-6 in the first half.
- William Banahene (Rochester/Brighton) made four saves for the shutout.
- After being assessed five yellow cards in yesterday's opener, the Bengals made it through today's game without an infraction.
FOR THE FOES
	- Brian Wilkin finished with nine saves for Nazareth.
