Melissa Smith (N. Tonawanda/Niagara Wheatfield) netted her second goal of the season to help Buffalo State remain unbeaten with a 1-0 victory over host University of Rochester this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Rochester held a 5-2 edge in shots in the first half, but the game remained scoreless after the opening 45 minutes.
- The game remained scoreless until Smith capitalized on the Bengals' only shot on goal of the contest after she beat a Rochester defender 1-on-1.
- The Yellowjackets finished with a 10-3 advantage in shots and a 3-1 edge on goal.
- Taylor Carillo (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) made three saves for her first collegiate shutout.
