Women’s Basketball pulls away at Potsdam, 66-49

POTSDAM, N.Y.— Princella McCullough (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) and Mariah Rosario (Flushing/RFK) Buffalo State paced Buffalo State to a 66-49 SUNYAC victory tonight over host Potsdam.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • McCullough led the Bengals with 14 and 12 rebounds, and Rosario netted 13 points to go with nine rebounds.
  • Grace Licata (Williamsville/Williamsville South) added nine points and six rebounds, and Shyasha Spencer (Geneva/Geneva) also scored nine points.
  • Buffalo State led 30-26 at halftime, and outscored Potsdam 36-23 the rest of the way to pull away.
  • The Bengals bench proved to be the difference with their reserves outscoring Potsdam's, 26-4. 
  • Buffalo State also dominated the glass, outrebounding the Bears, 53-30.
