PLATTSBURGH, N.Y.— Buffalo State overcame a 10-point deficit, scoring 61 second-half points to pull away for a 110-93 victory over host Plattsburgh today in a SUNYAC contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lovell Smith (Buffalo/McKinley) led five Buffalo State players scoring in double figures, netting 24 points and added eight rebounds.
- Nico McLean (Buffalo/Amherst) added 18 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
- Jordan Glover (Buffalo/St. Joe's) scored 17 points to go with six steals.
- J.O. Spence (Brooklyn/Bayard Rustin) and Dom Grayer (Brooklyn/Bishop Loughlin) chipped in 13 and 11 points respectively.
- Plattsburgh made late push in the first half to take a 55-49 lead into the intermission.
- The Cardinals quickly pushed the lead to 10 in the first minute of the second half, but Buffalo State outscored the Cardinals 61-34 the rest of the way.
- Plattsburgh could not handle Buffalo State's pressure as the Bengals converted 26 Cardinal turnovers into 45 points.
- The Bengals continued to shoot well from long range, connected on 42 percent of its 3-point shots (11 of 26).
