GENESEO, N.Y.—Buffalo State swept Plattsburgh for its first SUNYAC win of the season before dropping a four-set decision against host Geneseo today to conclude the second round of pool play.

	- Buffalo State dominated the Cardinals en route to a straight-sets win in the opening match, winning 25-17, 25-16 and 25-15.
 
	- The Bengals finished with 13 blocks and a .198 attack percentage.
 
	- Maria Gelyon (W. Seneca/Immaculata) had eight blocks and had five kills.
 
	- Lauren Hansen (Blue Point/Bayport Blue Point) tallied a team-high 11 kills.
 
	- Alyssa Durski (Eden/Eden) had 24 assists to go with a team-high 17 digs, and Brittney Valentine (Marietta/Marcellus) added 16 digs and three aces.
 
 
FOR THE FOES
	- Hunter Grotjohn led Plattsburgh with 14 kills.
 
	- Bryanne Yasui had 25 assists and 14 digs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
	- After dropping the first set 25-23, the Bengals rallied to win set two by a 25-19 count, but Geneseo pulled away with back-to-back set wins, 25-22 and 25-12.
 
	- Hansen pounded out 21 kills with just three errors and added 13 digs.
 
	- Eimile O'Brien (Marietta/Marcellus) added 11 kills and four blocks.
 
	- Durski chipped in 37 assists.
 
 
FOR THE FOES
	- Grace Cergol and Alexandra Frank led Geneseo with 16 kills apiece.
